Senior actor Dilip Kumar’s health is improving and he is likely to be discharged from the hospital soon. Dilip Kumar (98) was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in suburban Khar on Sunday after he complained of breathlessness. This is a non-Covid hospital. Family friend Faisal Farooqui said that he is expected to return home on Thursday i.e. today. Investigation revealed that fluid had collected outside his lungs. The doctors removed that fluid.
Farooqui posted on Twitter, ‘‘Thank you for your prayers… I personally spoke to Dr. Jalil Parkar and Dr. Nitin Gokhale. He is hopeful that he (Dilip Kumar) will be discharged tomorrow.’’
