Ravi Shankar Prasad’s question to CM Kejriwal- Why was One Nation One Ration Card not implemented in Delhi, what is the problem?

New Delhi: Now a dispute has also started between the Center and the Delhi government regarding ‘One Nation One Ration Card’. Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad has asked the Delhi government in a press conference today why One Nation One Ration Card has not been implemented here till now. At the same time, the Union Minister alleged that the Delhi government is under the control of the ration mafia.

Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ‘Arvind Kejriwal is talking about food in every household. Oxygen could not be delivered, Mohalla clinics could not deliver medicine. The Delhi government is under the control of the ration mafia. 34 states and union territories of the country implemented One Nation One Ration Card. Only three states Assam, West Bengal and Delhi did not implement it. Arvind Kejriwal why did you not implement One Nation One Ration Card in Delhi, what is your problem? If 34 states in the country are ready to implement the One Nation One Ration Card scheme, then what is the problem with the Chief Minister of Delhi. If the popular Chief Minister of Delhi talks about reaching door to door, then what is the problem with this scheme.

On the door-to-door ration delivery scheme of the Delhi government, the Union Minister said, “This home delivery looks very nice, but if you go inside it a little, it will be understood how many dives of scams will take place in it. You (Arvind Kejriwal) have your proposal. Send or play the game on the food grains that go to the Government of India. He told, the central government makes arrangements for wheat at Rs 2 per kg and rice at Rs 3 per kg across the country. Under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Yojana, till November last year, 80 crore people were given free ration. This year also it will be given free of cost till November. Two lakh crore rupees are being spent annually on this arrangement.

CM Kejriwal’s reply
In response, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “Today people want to see such a leadership at the Center which, instead of abusing and fighting the state governments all day, takes everyone along. The country will progress when 130 crore people, all State governments and the Center will work together as Team India. So much abuse is not good.”
